Professor AJ Scales

AJ is the head BJJ Instructor and co-owner at Complete Martial and Fitness. AJ has a wealth of experience holding a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from one of the top teams out of Brazil.

AJ has been associated with team Nova União for the past seven years and is a representative of Nova União Canada. His training started over 10 years after watching his first UFC Championship

A world class competitor in BJJ and Submission Grappling AJ also has a 4-0 record in Mixed Martial Arts. Some of AJ's highlights as a competitor are; in 2005 AJ was the first Canadian to compete in a Super Fight in Brazil and win without being scored on. Also in 2005 AJ became a state champion in brazil as a purple belt. In 2006 he went on and became a purple belt World Champion at the Copa do Mundo. See more of AJ's accomplishments below.

Instuctor Janz Stein

Janz Stein is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu itsu and has been training with AJ since he started. Janz started Jiu Jitsu with a wrestling background which transitioned well into his Jiu Jitsu game. Janz is a active competitor in Submission wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with a great deal of expeirence.
