- Uniform Policy
- All students are required to wear the official Complete Martial Arts and Fitness (CMAF) uniform (Gi) and Rashguard during all instructional classes.
- Having a white and blue uniform along with two rashguards is suggested. This will allow for alternation of the uniforms to be washed in a timely manner.
- Non official gym uniforms must have official gym patches on front and back.
- Non official gym uniforms can be worn during open mat classes and competitions only.
- The uniform must be worn at all times while in the mat area.
- The uniform must be clean at all times. A dirty uniform is a sign of disrespect.
- There will be a 30 day grace period where you can use a non official CMAF uniform when starting with CMAF. ( Non Official Uniform policy applies)
- If CMAF is out of stock of the official uniform the grace period will be extended.
- Mat Policy
- All students must bow before entering and exiting the mat area.
- During class, students must sit or stand in good posture while the instructor is demonstrating techniques.
- Please refrain from engaging in personal conversations, as this can be distracting to your instructor and other students.
- The use of personal devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
- Devices are to be left in the locker room unless arrangements have been made beforehand with the instructor.
- Classes end with a formal bow to the instructor, with students lining up in descending belt ranking.
- Leaving class before the formal bow is a sign of disrespect unless arrangements have been made beforehand with the instructor.
- Locker Room Policy
- All personal belonging must be placed in your gym bag and placed on the shelf.
- Items are not to be left on the floor.
- Please be courteous and keep showers to a minimum length of time to help conserve water and reduce wait times.
- Shower area must be kept clean at all times.
- Hygiene Policy
- It is recommended that all members have two uniforms to alternate on training days.
- Uniforms must be washed after every training session.
- Keep fingernails and toenails short for everyone’s safety.
- Students should be aware of and tend to any body odour issues before training.
- If you are not feeling well, please be respectful and mindful of others and refrain from participating in classes to avoid spreading viruses.
- Personal Belongings
- Complete Martial Arts and Fitness is not responsible for any personal items left at the gym.
- Personal items (gis, belts, rashguards, etc.) are not to be left in the locker rooms overnight.
- Items found will be retained for 7 days. After 7 days, items will be considered abandoned and disposed of.
- Please ensure water bottles are not left by the mat, waiting area or locker room.
- Water bottles found will be either be disposed of or placed in recycling.
